There were all kinds of people from different games within this single universe, Super Mario, Donkey Kong, Zelda, Metroid, Yoshi, Kirby, Star Fox, Pokemon and so much more, even from those worlds that weren't from the same branching universe as their own. It didn't matter whatever kind of personal conditions had to be made to be accepted as a candidate, man or woman, child or adult, hero or villain, anyone could be worthy to come along in a world where you can duke out your skills and powers upon dozens of other contenders from different worlds.
